Twelve days of Christmas part 2 at PinBroidery

Six new stitching card patterns have been added to the PinBroidery website. They complete the patterns inspired by the song “The Twelve Days of Christmas”. They feature twelve drummers drumming, eleven pipers piping, ten lords a leaping, nine ladies dancing, eight maids a milking and seven swans a swimming.

Each design has pricking patterns of two sizes: 144 x 144 mm (5.65 x 5.65 inches) and 152 x 104 mm (6 x 4½ inches). The square pricking pattern has words on two edges and the rectangular pattern omits the words.

If you use rectangular double fold cards you could put the appropriate words from the song inside the card. You could stitch the words on the inside panel that folds in to hide the back of the stitching.

The patterns are available individually and in a value pack of all six designs.

The Value pack can be found on the following web page:

The individual Christmas word patterns are in the Christmas section at:

  1. I did all the 12 days . I sent them one each day starting Dec 1st to my mother in law. She loved the first one but thought I was loosing it when the second card came. She caught on on the third. From then on she was waiting for the mail man. When they all were there–we were also. Everytime she had friends in they examined each one then she would tell them the story. They will be a part of her deco every Xmas from now on. She really was happy with them.
I had taken them to work to show the girls before I sent them–they didnt want me to send them all to her. It was the only set I did this year. By next year I have 4 sets requested for other grammas and moms/
I am really waiting for another great set. I did the initals and they always go over well. Keep up the great work. Cathy

    • Thank you for your great story Cathy. It was an inspired idea to send the cards one day at a time. I am pleased that your handy work was well received.
      Best wishes, David.

  2. Hi David
I have just done a number of the pattern ” nine ladies dancing” and I just have to tell you how beautiful that pattern is. I bought the rectangle one so there was no writing on it and this is perfect as I intent sending it to all the little girls, and one big one, who do ballet. They have turned out beautifully. My husband even commented on them and that is quiet something as I usually get the standard “very pretty dear” when I show him something new. Keep up the good work.

  3. I am waiting for new patterns. are any coming soon? maybe Christmas ones? But how can u top the 12 days? I have done 4 complete sets. Each time I get one done–others want them/ I will be watching
